WHAT IS FEMALE ORGASMIC DISORDER (FOD)?
FOD refers to difficulty reaching orgasm – it may take a woman longer to have an orgasm or she might not reach orgasm at all.
FOD is persistent and causes the woman significant distress, often causing conflict in her relationships
It is a common female condition.
Insufficient blood flow to the vaginal area can contribute to female orgasmic problems.
This could be due to poor circulation, low hormone levels, and lack of lubrication.
According to a U.S. Nationak Sample and The “Healthy Women/Lippe Taylor Women’s Health Behavior Index” of 1,092 U.S. women aged 18 years and older in April 21–29, 2015 70% of women don’t orgasm during sex1 and 60% of women are dissatisfied with their sex life2
We understand your sensitivities related to FOD. We are here for you.
WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF FOD?
Situational and psychologic factors can contribute to orgasmic disorder. They include the following:
Lovemaking that consistently ends before the woman is aroused enough (as when the man ejaculates too soon)
Insufficient foreplay
In one or both partners, lack of understanding about how their genital organs function
Poor communication about sex (for example, about what sort of stimulation a person enjoys)
Problems in the relationship, such as unresolved conflicts and lack of trust
Anxiety about sexual performance
A physically or emotionally traumatic experience, such as sexual abuse
Psychologic disorders (such as depression)
Physical disorders can also contribute to orgasmic disorders. They include nervous system damage (as result of diabetes, spinal cord injuries, lichen sclerosus, or multiple sclerosis), and abnormalities in genital organs.
Certain drugs, particularly selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs, a type of antidepressant), may specifically inhibit orgasm.
We use non-invasive, low-intensity sound waves that are delivered into the tissue of the penis to stimulate healing. In just a few short minutes, the sound waves promote healing and restoration of your natural sexual function by clearing plaque out of blood vessels and stimulating the growth of new ones.
Rather than relying on pills or injections, shockwave therapy reverses the underlying issues causing erectile dysfunction or Peyronie’s disease in the first place.
The result? Stronger erections and a healthier sex life than you’ve had in years.
A 6-treatment series is administered over the course of three weeks and most patients notice positive benefits quickly in the process.
A virtual consultation call or an in-person consultation visit is needed to determine if you are a candidate before your treatment is scheduled.
We understand patient sensitivities related to ED.
Greeted with a warm welcome.
You will be asked to fill out the IIEF and EHF forms to confirm performance issues.
We do a quick test and start by applying ultrasound gel to the low-intensity shock wave handpiece and start the treatment.
There will be 300 pulses in each 3 areas. 4 and a half minutes for each area. It is a very comfortable and completely pain-free treatment.
You can expect to see full results after 3 weeks.
Twice a week treatment. 6 treatments need to be completed.
